Metronome

This is a simple metronome which runs in your browser. You can make it slower or faster, you can start it and stop it, and that's about it. You can use it to keep time when you're playing music, or singing, or for anything else where you need a variable beat. The circular sweep may help you judge when the beat is coming.

For those interested in the technicals, this is all running in javascript, with no java or flash. The circular sweep is shown with svg inside the web page, and this svg is modified by the javascript. The "beat" is the sound of a cardboard tube hitting the edge of a table, recorded with a microphone and the sound file is played directly from javascript.
