LogicSim is currently at version 3.10, and the next one 3.11 will possibly be released soon. The current issues are described in the Github issues, and there are several more which are now closed, but the details are still there for those interested.
As discussed in the main page, LogicSim was originally created by Andreas Tetzl at tetzl.de, and there was steady development until 2020 with the release of version 2.7.
Since then, the history of the changes can be analysed on Github, and we can arrive at the following picture of transitions thanks to Peter "codepiet" Gabriel, Matthew "chocolatepatty" Lister and Benkralex.
The growth in code between 2.7 and 3.3 is very obvious here, with significant development by Peter Gabriel. There follows a plateau with steady improvements by Benkralex, and then finally with 3.10 and 3.11 there's a reduction in code size with changes by ActivityWorkshop. Some of this reduction comes from removal of features (such as gate mirroring and circuit printing), and some comes from effective simplifications and restructuring.
Of course one shouldn't take too much notice of the exact numbers, and "ownership" of code lines is easy to manipulate just by adding meaningless spaces and deleting them again. But I still think the picture is interesting, and shows distinct phases of development. It also gives an impression of how all the improvements and additional functionality have been added to the 2.7 basis which Andreas built.
